The Committee has the following responsibilities

2. To provide financial advice and guidance to congregations who so request. Members of Presbytery’s Stewardship and Finance are also members of the Presbytery Financial Advisory Team (General Assembly Remit 1998). 4. To manage all Presbytery Mission and Renewal issues. This includes:
-
recommending congregational Ministry and Mission combined allocations to Presbytery;
-
informing Presbytery, as required by the General Assembly, of any shortfalls incurred by congregations; and
-
meeting and consulting with the office bearers of congregations who experience shortfalls. In the latter case representatives from Presbytery’s Ministry Committee are to be invited to attend such meetings.
5. To support and assist Presbytery’s Ministry Committee in the compilation of all vacancy and revision schedules. To attend meetings with congregations where schedules are to be discussed.
6. To promote awareness within Presbytery of the benefits of and need for Christian Stewardship and to promulgate the various ways in which the Board of Stewardship and Finance can provide advice, literature, and assistance.
